Who's Who???
We
are a group of around 30 ladies of all ages who just love
singing! We meet once a week to practice our songs and
choreography, and sing a mix of songs. We perform when
invited, for organisations who request our presence, and
enter the annual Sweet Adelines competitions every May in
the United Kingdom.
Everything's coming up Roses!
The
City of Roses Barberchop Chorus started in Peterculter
Village Hall in June 1994 and went on to compete in the
National Competition in 1996, where we won a prestigious
chorus award. The ladies, who were 23-strong, sang "Who
will take my place when I'm gone?" and "I'm the one
you're looking for". It was a double celebration for the
group as we had just celebrated our second anniversary.
In 1998, we went on to win third place in the small
chorus section.
