On Friday 8 January, 2010, the Westhill & District Citizens Advice Bureau officially launched their new offices on the 1st Floor, Suite 2, Westhill Shopping Centre (entrance next door to the Co-op).

The Bureau is initially open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1000-1230 and on Fridays 1400-1700, but hours are to be extended in the new year.

Staff are trained to expert level and receive daily support from the CAB headquarters in Edinburgh. The advice given is locally-focused with the full backing of the national movement and so is of the highest quality. The numbers of people seeking advice and the scale of their problems have increased hugely in recent months - particularly due to the recession. Issues like debt, redundancy, relationship breakdown, housing and benefit problems have all increased dramatically.
