Art Project

 At last Summer's Gala, local residents drew and wrote on cobble stones as part of the Westhill Art Project. These were installed in a small landscaped area near the roundabout at Broadshade. We are having an informal gathering there this Saturday 20th April at 11am to see the result, and everyone is welcome to join us! Hope to see you there! 

 New boards are now in place opposite the shopping centre as you enter the Denman Park, providing information about the Westhill Compass, and the Arnhall Moss. 

 Our event at the Gala in June was a great success, with so many people wanting to draw & write on our cobble stones, that we ran out of cobble stones! Have a look at some photos of the fun we had on our Face Book page, at

The stones are to be part of a community art piece which we're organising at the moment. We'll keep you posted. For a full history of our project and lots more photos, see our new website at 

 We'll be at the Gala (inside the Ashdale Hall) under a more compact version of our pod, and we want you to help us create a temporary art work in Westhill. So if you're a resident, come along & make your mark by drawing or writing on our pebbles. These we'll incorporate in a temporary piece of art later this year, as part of the on-going Westhill Art project. Hope to see you on Saturday!
