Skene Heritage Society

Skene Heritage Society was formed towards the end of 2001 on the inititiative of Liz Lloyd, then Librarian at Westhill. The main aim of the Society is to collect photographs, documents, memories and other material relating to the history of the Parish of Skene for the benefit of future generations. We will also publish relevant material. The area covered includes Kirkton of Skene, Garlogie, Lyne of Skene, Elrick and the growth and development of Westhill.
